— Mission Statement

What We Stand For

Athletic Girls Club Foundation, Inc. is proud to introduce its mission to empower girls and young women through sports, mentorship, health education, financial literacy, and personal development.

Founded by 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalist Kristi Castlin, the organization was established to create safe, supportive, and empowering environments where girls and women can develop confidence, leadership skills, discipline, and long-term opportunities for success both on and off the field.

Across many communities, young girls continue to face limited access to mentorship, wellness education, leadership development, and positive athletic opportunities. Athletic Girls Club Foundation was created to help bridge that gap — providing impactful programs, resources, and community support designed to inspire and uplift the next generation of young women.

— Core Values
ConfidenceWe teach girls to trust their own voice, ability, and worth.
LeadershipEvery girl has the capacity to lead — we develop those skills early.
DisciplineAthletic training instills habits that carry into every area of life.
CommunityNo girl succeeds alone. We build teams, circles, and lasting bonds.

Kristi Castlin

Founder · President, Athletic Girls Club Foundation

Kristi Castlin made history at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, earning a bronze medal in the 100-meter hurdles — part of an historic American sweep in the event. Born and raised in Milledgeville, Georgia, Kristi went on to become a standout athlete at Virginia Tech before taking the world stage.

But for Kristi, the medals were never the end goal. Coming home to Georgia, she recognized the gap that exists for young girls who dream big but lack the support systems to make those dreams real. Athletic Girls Club Foundation is her answer to that gap — a place where every girl can find her power.
